ABOUT Pepper rice RECIPE

Simple and quick receipe using left over rice..

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Left over rice - 1 cup
  2. Onion - 1 ( finely chopped)
  3. Green chilli - 1 ( optional)
  4. Curry leaves - 1 string
  5. Corainder leaves - 1tsp(finely chopped)
  6. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Urad dhal - 2 tsp
  8. Chena dhal - 2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Pepper powder - 1 to 2 tsp(add according to ur taste)
  11. Oil - 1tsp
  12. Salt - as per therequirement

Instructions

  1. Heat a kadai add oil mustard seeds, urad dhal and chena dhal.
  2. Now add onion, chilli and curry leaves and saute well for few more minutes
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder
  4. Then add left over rice and saute well.. finally add pepper powder and coriander leaves and just give a mix...
  5. Serve hot / warm with pappad.
