Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. left over rice- 1 cup
  2. milk-1/2 litre
  3. powdered sugar-2 tsp
  4. suger-1/2 cup
  5. cardamon powder-1 tsp
  6. some chopped almonds and pistachios
  7. few saffron stand


  1. grind the leftover rice in mixer-grinder and make a fine paste. add powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp cardamon powder and mix very well.
  2. . make flat ball from rice and keep aside.
  3. pour milk in a. heavy bottomed pan.Bring it to a boil on a medium flame. add saffron and keep stirring every few minutes to prevent burning.
  4. next add suger.do not use high flame. keep stirring every 2-3 minutes. moving aside the cream or malai that come on top.add cardamon powder and some chopped nuts and boil.
  5. add rice flattened ball in milk. boil for 2 minutes and off the flame. cool in room temperature and garnish with chopped nuts. keep it in freeze . serve chilled.
