ABOUT Shahi Tukda RECIPE

This recipe is made by me from leftover pedas. The rabdi is made using the pedas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 pedas ( leftover)
  2. 500ml milk
  3. sugar according to taste
  4. 2 slices of bread cut into 4 triangles
  5. ghee to fry
  6. Nuts to garnish

Instructions

  1. Take bread slices and cut into 4 triangles
  2. Now heat ghee in a frying pan and fry the bread slices till golden brown in colour and crisp
  3. Remove on a kitchen towel to remove excess ghee. Keep aside.
  4. Now take the milk and let it boil
  5. Now crush the pedas into it and stir continuously
  6. Also add sugar if necessary
  7. When the mixture thickens, remove from fire and let it come to room temperature
  8. Now take a slice of fried bread and pour rabdi on it
  9. Garnish with nuts
  10. Serve hot or chilled
