Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ginger - 50 g
  2. Chana Dal - 2 tsp
  3. Urad Dal - 1 tsp
  4. Oil - As required
  5. Red Chilies - 7
  6. Jaggery
  7. Curry Leaves
  8. Tamarind - Lemon Size
  9. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  10. Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the pan and add some oil in it
  2. Next, add chana dal, urad dal and red chillies.
  3. Add sliced ginger and saute it for 5mins
  4. After 5mins, switch off the stove and allow it to cool
  5. Then transfer ginger mixture into mixer jar and add soaked tamarind, jaggery and salt. Grind this by adding some water.
  6. For tempering: Add oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, chana dal, curry leaves and pour this into the chutney.
  7. Ginger Chutney is ready.
