Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Jeera
  2. Bay leaf
  3. Salt
  4. Beetroot
  5. Tomato
  6. Onion
  7. Cinnamon
  8. Garlic
  9. Clove
  10. Turmeric Powder
  11. Garam Masala
  12. Chili Powder
  13. Cardamom
  14. Coconut

Instructions

  1. Boil chopped beetroot in water for 15 - 20 mins.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add bay leaf and cardamom
  3. Later on add finely chopped onions and saute it well.
  4. You can add small amount of salt to make the cooking faster, once onion turns color add chopped tomatoes in it and saute it well.
  5. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala, mix altogether and add boiled beetroot along with it's water.
  6. Add one tsp of sugar(optional) to enhance taste.
  7. At last add the coconut paste and allow it to boil.
  8. You can also add cashew nut paste ( It act as a thickening agent).
  9. Change the kurma to serving bowl
