Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. leftover cooked vermicelli-1 cup
  2. bread crumbs-1/2 cup
  3. chopped onion-1 medium
  4. chopped green chilly-1 tsp
  5. chopped ginger-1 tsp
  6. salt to taste
  7. red chilly powder-1/2 tsp
  8. garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
  9. oil as required
  10. musturd seed-1 tsp
  11. poppy seed-2 tsp

Instructions

  1. take cooked leftover vermicelli in a mixer- grinder.
  2. make a fine paste.keep aside. Heat a pan, add 1 tsp oil add musturd seed.when the seeds crackle add chopped onion,green chilly and ginger into pan.
  3. saute till onion gets softened.add grinded vermicelli.
  4. mix with onion properly.add salt ,red chilly powder and garam masala powder. stir a minute and remove pan from heat.add bread crumbs into it.
  5. mix with hands and make cutlets .
  6. spread poppy seeds in a plate. cover all the cutlets with poppy seeds. place a deep frying pan on gas. add oil in pan and deep fry all the prepared cutlets. fry till they turns golden brown.
  7. serve hot with tomato sauce.
