ABOUT Paneer Pappad Fritters RECIPE

We usually prepare fritters with potatoes, Raw bananas, etc. But this Paneer rolled in crushed pappad with some mild spices tastes good. Try out this.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
  2. 1 tbsp cornflour
  3. salt to taste
  4. 1 tbsp grated garlic
  5. 1 tsp chilli Powder
  6. 2 tsp aamchoor powder(dry mango powder)
  7. 1tsp garam masala powder.
  8. 1 tsp coriander powder.
  9. 5 tbsp plain flour (maida)
  10. 3/4 cup crushed papad
  11. oil for deep-frying


  1. Put the paneer in a plate and knead well with one tbsp of corn flour .
  2. Add the salt, garlic, chilli powder, amchoor powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and mix well.
  3. Shape mixed paneer into a long cylindrical roll. Keep aside.
  4. Combine the plain flour with ½ cup of water & required salt in a bowl and mix well.
  5. Dip each roll into the flour-water paste and then roll in the crushed papad and deep-fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  6. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve immediately with tomato ketchup.
