Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. white chickpeas - 1 cup (soaked over night and dried)
  2. potatoes, medium (boiled and peeled) - 2
  3. ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  4. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. capsicum, finely chopped - half
  6. onion, finely chopped - half
  7. green chilly, finely chopped - 2
  8. coriander leaves, finely chopped - 2 tbsp
  9. lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  10. bread crumbs - 1 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Grind the chickpeas coarsely.
  2. Add mashed potatoes, ginger garlic paste, baking powder, capsicum, onion, green chilly, coriander leaves, lemon juice, bread crumbs and salt. Mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape as you desire.
  4. Heat the oil in a flat pan and shallow fry the patty until both the sides are golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with the choice of your dip.
