Soya Scotch Eggs

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. soyabeen keema ( boiled ) - 500 gm
  2. Oil for Deep frying
  3. chat masala - 1 tablespoon
  4. bengal gram powder - 4 tablespoons
  5. boiled eggs - 4 no
  6. onions chopped - 4 teaspoons
  7. ginger and garlic paste - 2 teaspoons
  8. green chilies chopped - 2 teaspoons
  9. roasted cumin powder - 2 teaspoons
  10. garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. sugar - 1 teaspoon
  13. raisins - 3 teaspoons
  14. bread crumb - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add chopped onions and ginger, garlic paste and green chilies fry till become light golden in colour .
  2. Add soya keema, cumin powder, salt, sugar, bengal gram powder and fry for few seconds and mix the masala mixture well .
  3. Turn off the heat and sprinkle garam masala powder and let them completely cool .
  4. Get ready for soya masala coating and covering .
  5. Take a ball of the soya keema mixture on palm and then flatten it out . The surface should be big enough to hold the egg and covered the egg .
  6. Now roll the Scotch Egg in bread crumbs .
  7. Gently suspend the Scotch Egg in hot oil and fry until both side is golden brown .
  8. Sprinkle some chat masala on the Scotch Egg .
  9. Served with mango onion wine salsa .
  10. Bite in and enjoy the magic.
