  • Yellow split peas dal-1cup
  • ginger-1inch
  • cumin-1spn
  • red chilli-1
  • onion-1
  • Green chilli-2
  • Curry leave
  • salt
  • oil

How to make Masal vadai/ paruppu vadai

  1. SOAK SPLIT PEAS IN WATER FOR 4-6HOURS
  2. IN A MIXER JAR ADD DAL
  3. TAKE 1TBLSPN DAL AND KEEP ASIDE , AND ADD GINGER, RED CHILLI AND CUMIN IN MIXER JAR AND GRIND IT COARSELY
  4. TAKE GRINDED DHAL IN A BOWL AND ADD REMAINING DAL AND OTHER INGREDIENTS
  5. ADD SALT AND MIX WELL
  6. NEXT TAKE LEMON SIZE BALL AND FLATTEN IT LIKE THIS
  7. NEXT HEAT OIL WELL AND ADD VADAS ONE BY ONE AND FRY IT
  8. FLIP IT AND FRY TILL CRISPY
  9. WHEN IT FRY WELL TRANSFER IT
