Mango Delight

Ingredients to make Mango Delight

  • Ripe mangos
  • Fresh cream 1cup + 1/4 cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • sugar 4tbsp
  • cardamom powder 1tsp
  • cinnamon 1 small stick
  • Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
  • Gelatin 2tbsp
  • water

How to make Mango Delight

  1. Skin and cut the mangoes. Grind it in a mixer without any lumps.
  2. Add finely sieved cardamom powder, 1/4 cup freas cream and 2tbsp sugar to it and heat it in low flame till it starts bubbling. Dont over heat it.
  3. Meanwhile soak 2tbsp gelatin in cold water and allow it to bloom. Once its bloomed heat it till it dissolves.
  4. Add this to the mango mixture and stir well.
  5. Now strain this mixture mixture and pour it in a glass for setting.
  6. Refrigerate till its set.
  7. Take 1 cup fresh ceam, 1/2 cup milk, 2tbsp sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla extract and heat it till it starts bubbling. Then remove it from heat.
  8. Bloom 1tbsp gelatin in cold water and heat it till it dissolves and add it to the fresh cream mixture. Stirr well.
  9. Strain and pour on already set mango mixture and refrigerate till its set.
  10. Skin and thinly slice the mangoes. Arrange it on top of the set dessert.
  11. Keep it refrigerated all the time. Tastes best when served chilled.
