ABOUT Smoky pasta chicken curry RECIPE

Kind of fusion to normal pasta and simple chicken curry !

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Elbow shaped pasta 100 gms
  2. chicken 250 gms
  3. onion 2 medium
  4. tomato 2 ( deseed and make puree)
  5. almond 8 - 10 (soaked in water, peel the skin)
  6. Beaten curd 3 tbsp
  7. ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  8. Red chilly powder 1 tsp
  9. Paprika 1 tsp
  10. Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  11. Roated coriander powder 1 tsp
  12. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  13. salt to taste
  14. oil 5 tbsp
  15. Some chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. In large pot boil pasta with salt and 1 tsp oil and water, cook and drain .
  2. Soak almonds in 1/4 cup water, drain it , peel it and grind to a fine paste.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan ad chicken pieces and ginger garlic paste.
  4. Cook and cover with lid till chicken cooks properly, takeout chicken from pan and keep aside.
  5. Heat 3 tbsp oil in same pan and fry onion till brown. Take out in plate and let it cool then grind to a fine paste with 1 to2 tsp water.
  6. In same oil ad tomato puree ,cook till 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Ad brown onion paste and cook till few minutes.
  8. Ad almond paste and cook for more few minutes.
  9. Ad all spices, salt 1/4 cup water and cook till oil starts leaving.
  10. Ad beaten curd and mix well.
  11. Now ad boiled pasta ,cooked chicken,mix everything together and cook till 10 minutes at high flame. Then switch off the flame.
  12. Place small foil piece over gravy, put hot coal over it and pour few drops of oil or ghee, cover the lid till 10 minutes.
  13. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
  14. Serve with rice .
