ABOUT Crispy rice cigar's RECIPE

Its really yummy and tasty snacks made with leftover masala baath and plain rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup plain rice
  2. 1 cup masala baath / pulao / kicchadi
  3. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  4. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  5. 1 green chilli chopped
  6. 1 tsp Ginger garlic crushed
  7. Mirchi powder as needed
  8. 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  9. 1/4 cup Grated Cheese
  10. Chopped coriander / pudhina
  11. Salt for taste
  12. For frying:
  13. Bread crumbs 1 cup
  14. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Mash the rice and masala bhath with potato masher.
  2. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
  3. Apply a little oil on your hands and take lemon size rice mix and make it into sigar shape/ tikki shape.
  4. Roll it in the bread crumbs.
  5. Heat a nonstick pan and pour little oil and shallow fry the cigar on a medium flame till it turns crisp and nice golden colour.
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or pudina chutney.
