ABOUT Crispy Palak Pakoda / Crispy Spinach Fritters RECIPE

It is easy, crunchy and tasty pakoda's. Even the kids who do not like spinach will love this.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bunch baby Spinach cleaned and washed
  2. 1 1/2 cup bengal gram flour / besan
  3. 3/4 cup rice flour
  4. 1/2 tsp carrom seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
  6. 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  9. Water as required
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
  2. Add a tbsp of oil, water and make a smooth thick paste the consistency should be like a Idli batter).
  3. Pour this over the spinach and mix well (No need to chop. If the leaves are big just tear them with hands).
  4. Heat the oil in deep pan and drop little palak mix in the oil.
  5. Fry till crisp and drain it on a tissue paper.
  6. Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
