ABOUT Ravioli Pasta in Pink Sauce RECIPE

I love Ravioli pasta and pink sauce. I thought of combining both and it came out to be perfect.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Dough
  2. 1 cup plain flour
  3. 1 cup semolina/sooji
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp oil
  6. For Filling
  7. 1 cup blanched spinach
  8. 1 cup ricotta cheese
  9. 1 tsp salt
  10. 1 tsp oregano
  11. 2 tbsp cornflour powder
  12. 1/2 cup grated processed cheese
  13. 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  14. Pink Sauce
  15. 2 onion (cut into cubes)
  16. 1 capsicum
  17. 1 tbsp garlic-chilli paste
  18. 1 cup tomato puree
  19. 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  20. 1 cup milk
  21. 1 tsp white flour
  22. 1 tbsp butter
  23. 1/4 cup grated processed cheese
  24. 1 tsp oregano
  25. 1 tsp chilli flakes
  26. Salt to taste
  27. 1 tbsp refined oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients of filling.
  2. Mix all the ingredients of dough and knead dough. Roll the dough and cut into round shapes.
  3. Take round shape cutted dough and brush it with milk. Add some filling and cover with other dough. Seal the corners properly.
  4. Boil water with 1 tsp salt. Add the prepared ravioli and let it boil till it is perfectly cooked.
  5. For Mixed Sauce
  6. Heat oil.
  7. Add onion and garli-chilli paste. Saute for few minutes.
  8. Add tomato puree. Let it boil and add tomato sauce.
  9. Mix milk and white flour together in a bowl and add to the tomato puree.
  10. Add butter and cheese. Saute well.
  11. Add salt, oregano and chilli flakes. Mix well.
  12. Serving
  13. Place the prepared ravioli on a serving plate. Add the prepared pink sauce.
  14. Garnish with basil leaves.
  15. Serve with garlic bread.
