ABOUT Mixed Pulses American Chilli RECIPE

Mixed Pulses American Chilli is a high power protein dish,with a combination of three pulses like green sprouts, black chickpea sprouts and fresh red kidney bean. Spices are combined with a chunk of chocolate and tangy lemon gives an all American chilli flavour.Must try recipe by all.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green sprouts 1 cup
  2. Sprouted Black chickpea 1 cup
  3. Fresh red kidney Bean 1 cup
  4. Butter 1 tablespoon
  5. Oil 2 teaspoon
  6. Onion chopped 1
  7. Tomatoes chopped 2
  8. Dark Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  9. Compound chocolate chunk 20 grams
  10. Water 3 cups
  11. Cinnamon 1 inch stick
  12. Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  15. Dried Oregano powder 1/4 teaspoon
  16. Paprika powder 1/4 teaspoon
  17. Grated cheese 1/4 cup
  18. Coriander leaves 1 fistful
  19. Lemon juice 1/2

Instructions

  1. ADD BUTTER AND OIL IN A PRESSURE COOKER ON A MEDIUM HEAT
  2. ADD AN INCH OF CINNAMON STICK AND ONION TO IT AND SAUTE FOR A WHILE TILL IT IS TRANSLUCENT.
  3. ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES TILL IT IS MUSHY.
  4. ADD GREEN SPROUTS,SPROUT BLACK CHICKPEAS AND FRESH RED KIDNEY BEANS.
  5. TO IT ADD CHILLI POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER,CUMIN POWDER, PAPRIKA POWDER AND OREGANO.
  6. MIX WELL TILL IT IS WELL COMBINED.
  7. ADD SALT,20 GRAMS OF CHOCOLATE CHUNK AND WATER TO IT.
  8. LET IT BOIL FOR A MINUTE.
  9. CLOSE THE LID AND PRESSURE COOK FOR ONLY FIVE MINUTES.
  10. OPEN THE LID AND CHECK THE PULSES ARE WELL BOILED.
  11. TRANSFER IT TO A PAN AND GENTLY MIX.
  12. LET IT THICKEN .ADD CORIANDER LEAVES .
  13. HEALTHY MIXED PULSE SPROUTS CHILLI IS READY.
  14. BEFORE SERVING SQUEEZE A LEMON FOR EXTRA TASTE.
  15. GARNISH IT WITH GRATED CHEESE ,CORIANDER LEAVES AND LEMON RINDS.
  16. HIGH PROTEIN POWER MIXED PULSE CHILLI CAN BE CONSUMED WITH ANY PARATHA OR RICE.
