A mughlai delicacy of fried mutton with raw papaya paste.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mutton (T bone)pieces 1kg.
  2. Raw papaya paste 2table spoon.
  3. Red chilly powder 1table spoon.
  4. Kashmiri mirch powder 1table spoon.
  5. Turmeric powder 1tea spoon.
  6. Garam masala 2table spoon.
  7. Cumin powder 1tea spoon.
  8. Curd 2table spoon.
  9. Ginger paste 1/2cup.
  10. Onion paste 1/2cup.
  11. Oil 2table spoon +1/2cup.
  12. Chopped coriander leaves 1/2cup.

Instructions

  1. Mix all the spices ,1table spoon oil and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add mutton pieces to it .
  3. Keep in refrigerator for 1hour.
  4. Mix raw papaya paste to mutton.Leave for 10_15 minutes to tender the mutton.The time may vary depending on the qwality of mutton.
  5. After 10_12 minutes press mutton piece with fingers,if it feel soft then the mutton is ready to fry.If it seems hard leave another 5 minutes.
  6. Heat a tawa,non _stick would be better,as it consumes less oil.
  7. Put 2 table sppon oil,when smoky,add mutton pieces.
  8. Fry on medium flame till golden.
  9. Serve with salad.
  10. Awsome with naan and parathe.
