Very tasty recipe, which goes well with rotis as well as any type of rice.Adapted this recipe from a cookery blog,and made my own changes to enhance the taste.
1) add one tbsp oil in a skillet,add one onion sliced,when light brown,add one tomato chopped,n one capsicum cubes,saute well,nd when cool grind to a smooth paste in mixer.
2)dry fry all the ingredients,in the list n powder it coarsely n keep aside.
Heat oil in the same skillet,add kalonji,when it splutters,add hing,then add haldi n kashmiri redchilli powder,add gingr garlic paste,saute well, then add ground paste( onion tomato capsicum) ,saute well till oil seperate.
3) add salt,sugar, powdered masala,mix well,dilute the gravy adding lil water,add paneer pieces,mix well,cook closed on medium flame for 5 minutes.
4 add butter milk to the boiling gravy,mix well,and switch off the flame, finally garnish with chopped fresh coriander, sprinkle lil kitchen king masala and the dish is done..
