ABOUT Chicken Banjara Kebab RECIPE

This recipe is a great dish to have as a starter. It goes best with mint chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. chicken Breast (550 gms)
  2. Chili Powder (1 tsp)
  3. lime Juice (1 tsp)
  4. salt (As per taste)
  5. cumin Seeds ( 1 tbsp)
  6. Sesame Seeds (1 tbsp)
  7. Mustard Seeds (1 tbsp)
  8. curd (half cup)
  9. Tandoori masala (1 tsp)
  10. coriander Power (1 tsp)
  11. ginger Paste (1 tsp)
  12. garlic Paste (1 tsp)
  13. Green Chili Paste ( 1 and half tsp)

Instructions

  1. Take the chicken and cut it into cubes
  2. Add the chili powder, lime juice and salt. Mix and set aside to marinate for about 15 mins.
  3. In a pan, add the jeera, mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Dry roast it until it turns golden brown. Remove from the pan and grind or pound it to form a masala.
  4. In a bowl, add the curd, 2 tsp of the ground masala, coriander powder, ginger and garlic paste, green chili paste, tandoori masala and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.
  5. Add the marinade to the chicken and set aside for it to marinate for an hour.
  6. Take a grill, add the chicken to the skewers and grill it for about 10-15 mins on low flame.
