ABOUT Soft Buttery Pretzels RECIPE

It is said that a monk made the first pretzel. He folded the dough into the figure of a child with arms folded in prayer. He called them “pretiolas” or small prize and gave them away to children who had memorized their prayers. The authenticity of this story is hard to ascertain. It is a popular food in Lent when the church wants everyone to go vegetarian. It is also a popular food for sports addicts glued to their television sets during football and cricket matches. This is a hot favourite in my home during the F1 races, T20 matches, Wimbledon or any game my sports crazy family takes a fancy to..
