This recipe is our favourite chef Ranveer Brar's creation.He made this for fussy eating kids.Its so delicious and tasty.

Harsheys Khatta Meetha Tart

Ingredients to make Harsheys Khatta Meetha Tart

  • Bread -4 pieces
  • Cherry tomatoes -2 cups ( chopped)
  • mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon
  • chana dal or bengal gram dal -1/2 teaspoon
  • onion -1 chopped
  • ginger-few (chopped)
  • lemon juice-1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Harshey's syrup -2 tablespoons
  • oil -1 teaspoon
  • Grated cheese -2 cups
  • coriander leaves -few

How to make Harsheys Khatta Meetha Tart

  1. Cut the sides of bread slices
  2. Roll out with roller
  3. Put into muffin cup and bake in oven for 5 minutes
  4. Remove from bread slices from oven
  5. Heat oil in a pan
  6. Temper the oil with mustard seed and chana dal
  7. Add onion and ginger and fry until light brown
  8. Add chopped tomatoes..Cook on low flame until tomatoes are foft
  9. Add salt
  10. Add strawberry sauce and mix with back side of spoon to make it more mashy
  11. Add lemon juice
  12. Take bread bowl , add grated cheese , add 2 teaspoons tomato chutney
  13. Again add grated cheese..Garnish with coriander
  14. Serve
