ABOUT Hakka noodles RECIPE

Veg Hakka noodles - indo chinese is a basic easy stir fry noodles that can be enjoyed on it's own or with your choice of gravy or veggies.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hakka noodles 1 packet
  2. Onion sliced 1
  3. Capsicum sliced 1
  4. Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  5. Ginger chopped 1 tsp
  6. Cabbage shredded 1/2 cup
  7. Carrot jullienes 1/2 cup
  8. black pepper powder 1 tsp
  9. Soya sauce 1 tsp
  10. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  11. Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Ajinomoto 1 tsp
  14. Oil 2 tsp + 2tsp

Instructions

  1. In a pan add water bring it to a boil
  2. Add 2 tsp oil and 1 tsp of salt and add noodles
  3. Cook it for 7- 8 min
  4. Strain and wash with cold water and apply oil
  5. In a pan add oil, lightly saute ginger and garlic
  6. Add onions and saute for a min
  7. Then add capsicum, cabbage, carrot and saute for a min
  8. Add all sauces and seasonings
  9. Give it a quick stir
  10. Add noodles and give a quick stir
  11. Serve hot and enjoy.
