Ingredients to make Cheese tomato

  • tomatoes 4-5
  • paneer /cheese -250 gm.
  • cashew nuts handful
  • Green chilli -2
  • cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Corriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala -1 tsp
  • water 1 cup
  • Black cardamom -1
  • Green cardamom -2
  • cloves -3
  • cinnamon stick -small piece
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Bayleaf -1
  • Clarrified butter- 1 tbsp
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • cream - 2 tsp
  • Kasturi methi 1 tsp

How to make Cheese tomato

  1. In a pressure cooker add chopped tomatoes,handful of cashews,green chilli ,black cardamom,green cardamom,
  2. Next add water 1 cup and pressure cook till 3-4 whistles .let it cool and then puree it.Don't discard water.keep it
  3. Next in a pan .Add 1 tbsp clarrified butter.
  4. Then add jeera/cumin seeds let them crackle.
  5. Add corriander powder,cinnamon,cloves,bayleaf, garlic ginger paste. Saute it.
  6. Now add turmeric, salt,garam masala ,red chilli powder and finally tomato puree
  7. Let it cook at medium flame till oil seperates ,then add cream, sugar.mix them . Add kasturi methi
  8. Finally paneer/cheese cubes.mix well add remaining water to it.cover it and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes at low flame.
