ABOUT Power Packed Protein Parcels RECIPE

We make it every tuesday as evening snack but BetterButter Contest gave me a new idea so I added nutrela chunks and it turned out very tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. soaked bengal gram dal 2 cups
  2. Garlic cloves 1/2 cup
  3. nutrela chunks 1 cup soaked
  4. green chillies 5-6 medium sized
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil is optional if frying

Instructions

  1. Grind all the ingredients together to make a coarse paste. Please note that it should not be very fine or smooth paste also not runny so use less water to grind it.
  2. Use a deep pan and fill with water. Put it on a stove and let it boil.
  3. Take a muslin cloth and tie this thick mixture in it and keep aside.
  4. As the water comes to a rolling boil place a steel strainer over it and place the muslin cloth potli in it. Cover it with a lid.
  5. Let it steam this potli for half an hour on medium heat. After that take off the strainer with potli and let it come to normal temperature.
  6. Open the potli and cut the steamed dough in pieces. You can shallow fry or deep fry these pieces or eat it as it is.
