These golgappas are easy two make includes just two ingredients and perfect puchkas are ready.

Ingredients to make Suji ke golgappe/puchka

  • semolina 1/2 cup
  • oil 2 tsp
  • Lukewarm water 2-3 tbsp
  • oil for frying.

How to make Suji ke golgappe/puchka

  1. TAKE 1/2 CUP SEMOLINA/SUJI. OIL 2 TEASPOON.
  2. TAKE SEMOLINA IN A BOWL.MAKE SPACE IN CENTRE.
  3. ADD OIL AND MIX WELL.
  4. IT SHOULD HOLD THE SHAPE.
  5. ADD LUKEWARM WATER IN BATCHES .I USED 2 TBSP WATER.
  6. ADD 1 TSP WATER MORE IF NEED.
  7. DON'T KNEAD TIGHT DOUGH.KNEAD SMOOTH DOUGH GOR 2-3 MINUTES.
  8. TAP IT WITH WET HANDS COVER AND LET IT REST FOR 20 MINUTES.
  9. AFTER 20 MINUTES KNEAD DOUGH FOR 3-4 MIN BY PATTING IT WITH WET HANDS ,LIKE THIS.
  10. DOUGH IS READY ,DIVIDE IN TWO HALVES.
  11. KEEP ONE PART AND ROLL OTHER.
  12. ROLL LONG LIKE THIS.
  13. CUT IN EQUAL PARTS.
  14. MAKE SMALL BALLS OF IT.
  15. TAKE ONE BALL AND PRESS IT AT CENTRE.ROLL IT DOWN AS OVAL OR ROUND IN SHAPE.
  16. IT SHOULD BE EQUALLY THIN FROM ALL SIDES.
  17. MAKE ONE BATCH.
  18. HEAT OIL ,THEN ADD THEM ONE BY ONE AND PAT EACH WITH LIGHT HAND .
  19. ADD ONE BY ONE.
  20. LET THEM GET CRISP FROM ONE SIDE FLIP IT AFTER 45-60 SEC.
  21. KEEP ON PUTTING OIL ON SIDE THATS UP.
  22. SIMILARLY LET IT GET CRISP FROM OTHER SIDE FOR 45-60 SEC.MAKE ALL AND LET THEM COOL COMPLETELY.
  23. CAN STORE IN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER.
  24. SEE HOW CRISP THEY ARE.
