ABOUT My Desi style Masala Maggi RECIPE

Maggi... Maggi... Maggi... I am loving it! I am such a huge fan of Maggi! And I think, everyone loves Maggi, whether they be old, young, or kids. I love to make Maggi any time. My masala Maggi is loved by everyone and everyone appreciate's me. Everyone has their own recipe of making Maggi. Some like it plain or some like it only with veggies, cheese, and many more options. I also add veggies in my Maggi, but I also add a desi tadka to my Maggi. Here, I am sharing my desi tadka Masala Maggi recipe... I hope you will also enjoy it!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maggi- 1 packet of 4 pieces
  2. Onion - 2 medium size (finely chopped)
  3. Tomato - 1 medium (Finely chopped)
  4. Capsicum - 1 small (finely chopped)
  5. Carrot - 1 (finely chopped)
  6. Peas - 2 tablespoon
  7. Green chilli - 2 (finely chopped)
  8. Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  9. Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  10. Salt as required
  11. Red chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  13. Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Maggi masala- 4 sachets
  15. Oil - 1 or 2 tablespoon
  16. Water as needed 
  17. Coriander for garnish 

Instructions

  1. Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan and let it heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  3. Now, add chopped onion and green chilli and saute until onion becomes pink.
  4. Then add tomatoes and saute until tomatoes become soft.
  5. Now add capsicum, carrot and also add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder. Mix it nicely and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Now add peas and maggi masala and mix everything together.
  7. Lastly, add 2 cups water or as you want. And, add Maggi pieces by breaking it into two halves and stir it.
  8. Boil for 2-3 minutes and stir occasionally.
  9. Cook till the Maggi absorbs the water and gets cooked completely.
  10. Finally, your Masala Maggi is ready to eat. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot. Enjoy your yummy Masala Maggi.
  11. Add some lemon juice for more desi taste. Also, you can serve it with tomato ketchup. You can also add grated cheese on top.
