raw papaya is full of nutrients and digestive enzymes . it is a very simple recepie with less spice yet delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. one medium sized raw papaya
  2. whole jeera 1 table spoon
  3. ginger paste 1-2 tablespoon
  4. tomato paste 1/4 cup
  5. turmeric powder 1 pinch
  6. coriander- cumin powder 1 table spoon
  7. red chilli powder1/2 table spoon
  8. slitted green chilli - 2
  9. grated coconut 1-2 table spoon
  10. chopped coriander 1-2 table spoon
  11. oil 1-2 table spoon
  12. salt and sugar as per taste
  13. asafoetida 1 pinch
  14. garam masala powder- 1/2 table spoon

Instructions

  1. pressure cook papaya cubes for 1 whistle
  2. heat the oil and add whole jeera and asafoetida. add boiled papaya cubes and fry until light brown.
  3. Add ginger paste, green chilli, turmeric powder, salt and sugar. mix well and cook till the raw smell of ginger gone.
  4. Add , coriander- cumin powder, red chilli powder and cook for few more minutes.
  5. add tomato paste and cook till oil separates
  6. Add little water, cover and cook for few minutes
  7. Add grated coconut and mix well
  8. finally add some garam masala powder and chopped coriander
