Tangy rice

Ingredients to make Tangy rice

  • rice 1 cup
  • garlic 7-8 numbers
  • ginger small piece
  • onion to medium
  • green chillies 6-7 numbers
  • jeera one teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  • coriander powder one teaspoon
  • haldi one teaspoon
  • matar handful
  • capsicum One medium
  • mustard oil 3 tablespoon

How to make Tangy rice

  1. soak rice for half an hour
  2. blunt matos made into a puree
  3. cut onions and Capsicum
  4. heat oil in a kadai
  5. add Jeera
  6. Add chopped ginger garlic and saute on medium flame until slightly aromatic.
  7. Add onions saute for 2-3 mins.
  8. Add tomato puree, mix well
  9. After few mins add peas,capsicum.
  10. Cover it and let it cook on medium flame for 8-10 .mins
  11. Turn off the flame when it is cooked.
  12. Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with green chutney and curd

My Tip:

You can add any vegetables
