ABOUT Spicy and Tangy Tawa Paneer Wrap ! RECIPE

The Tongue tickling the spicy and tangy masala of the paneer wrapped in Tortillas or Roti's is a treat to taste buds anywhere and at anytime. This is a delicious recipe that tastes exceptionally well with Green Chutney. It's Healthy for KIDS so can pack a few for Tiffin Box and take a few at work when you are in hurry and have it on the go.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Paneer - 250 gm, Cut into Cubes
  2. 2 Tortillas/Chappatis
  3. 2-3 tbsp Olive oil
  4. 2 tomatoes finely chopped
  5. Tomato Puree ( Optional)
  6. 2 onions finely chopped
  7. 1 Lime juice
  8. A pinch of turmeric powder
  9. 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  10. ½ tbsp mustard seeds
  11. 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  12. ½ tsp Garam Masala
  13. 2 green chilies finely chopped
  14. Coriander finely chopped
  15. Salt and pepper to taste
  16. Grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan on a medium flame and add 2-3 tbsp of olive oil.
  2. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, finely chopped garlic, turmeric powder, chopped green chillies and fry them for a minute.
  3. Then add chopped onions and when it becomes translucent add the chopped tomatoes.
  4. Add little bit of butter and mix all the ingredients. Add salt & pepper and 1 tbsp of tomato puree.
  5. Sauté for a while till the tomato turns mushy.
  6. Now add the paneer cubes and sauté them for a while.
  7. Add half of lime juice and coriander leaves in the end. Switch off the flame and allow this to cool.
  8. Making the Wrap : Lets take a tawa, add little bit of butter and reheat our chapatti/tortilla for 20- 30 secs. Warm it a bit.
  9. Place the paneer mixture on the center of the chapati/tortilla and grate some cheese on top.
  10. Roll it into a wrap. The paneer wrap is ready to eat.
  11. Serve hot with green chutney.
