ABOUT chilly fish RECIPE

It is a very popular Chinese dish. lots of authentic recepies are available for the dish but I made it in my own way.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. fish fillet 500 gm
  2. one large onion
  3. one large capsicum
  4. ginger paste1-2 tablesspoon
  5. garlic paste 1-2 tablespoon
  6. soyasauce2-3 tablespoon
  7. red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon
  8. green chilli sauce 1 tablespoon
  9. black pepper powder 1 table spoon
  10. green chillies 2-3
  11. vinegar 1/2 tablespoon
  12. some chopped spring onion
  13. corn flour 1-2 tablespoon
  14. sesame oil 1-2 tablespoon
  15. salt, sugar as per taste

Instructions

  1. cut fish fillet into medium pieces. marinate them with little ginger- garlic paste, 1 tablespoon soyasauce, salt and black pepper powder for 30 minutes.
  2. add 1 tablespoon corn flour . fry them and keep aside
  3. cut onion and capsicum into square
  4. take red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, chopped green chilli, salt, sugar and black pepper powder in a bowl . add some water to mix them . sauce is ready.
  5. heat the oil , add some ginger - garlic paste, fry till the raw smell gone.
  6. add onion and capsicum and fry for sometime
  7. add sauce to it , boil it for 1 minute
  8. add the fried fish pieces and cook for 2-3 more minutes
  9. mix corn flour with water. add it to thickens the gravy. add slitted green chilli and chopped spring onion
