Ingredients to make tomato gojju

  • Three cups of chopped ripe tomato
  • one cup of chopped onion
  • two spoon groundnut oil
  • half spoon each of jeera , mustard and methi
  • three green chillies slit
  • one and half spoon salt
  • pinch of turmeric
  • half cup tamarind juice
  • small piece of jaggery
  • one spoon rasam powder
  • three spoons roasted and powdered til

How to make tomato gojju

  1. Heatoil. Add mustard , jeera, methi, green chillies, onion salt and saute till golden brown
  2. Now add pinch of turmeric and chopped tomatoes. Add tamarind juice and jaggery.
  3. When tomatoes are done add rasam powder and til powder and also curry leaves. Tasty gojju is ready

My Tip:

Goes well with rice and rotis. You can also add dry coconut powder for variation
