ABOUT JHUNAKA VADI RECIPE

This is a nirth karnataka delight goes well with roti or rice

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. two spoon oil
  2. chopped chillies
  3. one cup chopped onion
  4. one spoon salt
  5. pinch turmeric
  6. quarter spoon ginger paste
  7. half cup besan
  8. grated dry coconut
  9. chopped coriander

Instructions

  1. Fry one cup of chopped onion along with chopped green chillies in two spoon oil
  2. Add turmeric and one spoon salt and quarter spoon ginger paste
  3. Add one cup water and boil
  4. Add half cup besan (chick pea flour) and mix without lumps
  5. Cook till the mixture leaves sides of the wok
  6. Meanwhile grease a plate
  7. Pour the mixture into the greased plate and set
  8. Garnish with dry coconut grating and chopped coriander
  9. Cut and transfer to serving plate and serve with roti/rice
