Mixed Flour Cheela

Ingredients to make Mixed Flour Cheela

  • Whole wheat flour-1 cup
  • gram flour/besan-1cup
  • semolina/suji-1/4 cup
  • Carrom seeds/ajwain-1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Tueric powder 1/2 tsp
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • water-2 cups
  • oil to cook

How to make Mixed Flour Cheela

  1. TAKE 1 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, 1/4 CUP SEMOLINA & 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR
  2. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF SALT & CAROM SEEDS
  3. THEN 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, MIX WELL
  4. ADD 2 CUPS WATER, LITTLE BY LITTLE, MIX TO MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER
  5. THE BATTER SHOULD BE OF POURING CONSISTENCY LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  6. ADD 1 CHOPPED CAPSICUM, MIX
  7. ADD 1 TSP CUMIN POWDER, 1/2 TSP PEPPER POWDER
  8. GREASE NONSTICK TAVA WITH 1/2 TSP OIL, ADD A LADLEFUL OF BATTER & SPREAD TO MAKE A ROUND
  9. FLIP & COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON BOTH SIDES
  10. THE CHEELA IS READY, SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP OR CHUTNEY
