About Arrabiata Sauce Recipe

Its a spicy and flavourful sauce,goes well with penne pasta and spaghetti

Arrabiata Sauce

Ingredients to make Arrabiata Sauce

  • Extra Virgin olive Oil -2 tbsp
  • Red capsicum - 1/4 cup,chopped finely
  • garlic pods -3 ,chopped finely
  • Can tomatoes -1 (800gm)
  • salt -to taste
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • Red wine vinegar -1/4 cup
  • red chilli flakes -1 tbsp
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp
  • Persil leaves - 1 tsp (fresh or dried )

How to make Arrabiata Sauce

  1. *Open the can and crush the tomatoes in your hand ,so that it well be chunky.Normally we dont prefer smooth in consistency.
  2. *In a pan heat the olive oil,saute the chopped garlic ,followed by tomate paste,chopped capsicum .Saute well until the raw smell goes well.
  3. *Then add the crushed tomates along with water.Simmer the flame and boil it well.Once it starts to thicken add the salt,sugar,red wine vinegar and red chilli flakes.
  4. *Boil it further more minutes until you get desired consistency.Finally add the dried OR fresh persil and Switch off the flame.
  5. *Once it cooled down completely stored it in fridge upto 5 days.Serve the hot sauce in penne pasta .
