Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 raw bananas
  2. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. Coconut oil/Rice bran oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the bananas and pat dry.Peel off skin with a sharp knife.
  2. Slice each banana into thin chips using a knife or use a mandoline.
  3. Heat oil to medium hot in a wok/kadhai.
  4. Take 1/4 cup of water and add the turmeric and salt to it, mix well and reserve.
  5. Slide the chips one by one(to avoid sticking) into the oil. Fry small batches at a time.
  6. Fry till lightly coloured, then sprinkle 1/2 tsp of the salt-turmeric mixture on top of the chips. It will sizzle a bit.
  7. Chips will take on the colour of turmeric.Fry for a few more minutes till golden and crisp.
  8. Drain with a slotted spoon over paper towels.
  9. Once cool and crisp, transfer to an airtight container.

use slicer to slice bananas,it s more thinner & tastier. but u should slice it to the hot oil directly. .
