QUICK, EASY SPICY TOMATO CHUTNEY

PLAIN TOMATO CHUTNEY

Ingredients to make PLAIN TOMATO CHUTNEY

  • tomato – 2 nos ( big)
  • Dry red chilies – 1 or 2 nos
  • salt – as required.
  • Gingelly oil – 2 tsp.
  • mustard – ¼ tsp.

How to make PLAIN TOMATO CHUTNEY

  1. Grind tomatoes and red chillies to fine puree along with salt.
  2. In a pan add oil followed by mustard , when mustard splutters add the tomato , chill puree and saute.
  3. Saute till the raw smell of tomato leaves and chutney thickens as per your requirement.
  4. Tatata…that’s all..serve the hot chutney for idli , dosa ,paniyaram and aapam too.

My Tip:

ADJUST TOMATO, CHILLI ACCORDING TO SPICINESS AND TANGYNESS
