Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For Bread, 1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour, extra for dusting
  2. 1 tsp sugar
  3. 1 tsp dry active yeast
  4. 1/4 cup lukewarm water, add more to knead
  5. 1 and 1/2 tsp milk powder
  6. 1/2 tsp salt or according to taste
  7. 2 tbsp olive oil
  8. 1/2 tsp peprika powder
  9. 1/2 tsp dry basil
  10. 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  11. 1/2 tsp onion powder
  12. For Homemade zataar, 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  13. 1 tbsp sumac powder
  14. 1 tsp dry basil
  15. 1 tsp oregano
  16. 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  17. 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
  18. 1/4 tsp salt or as per taste
  19. 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. FOR BREAD, TAKE 1 TSP SUGAR IN A BOWL
  2. ADD 1 TSP DRY ACTIVE YEAST AND 1/4 CUP LUKEWARM WATER AND KEEP ASIDE TILL FROTHY
  3. TAKE 1 AND 1/2 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR IN A DEEP MIXING BOWL
  4. ADD 1 AND 1/2 TSP MILK POWDER
  5. 1/2 TSP SALT OR AS PER TASTE
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP PEPRIKA,1/2 TSP DRY BASIL,1/2 TSP OREGANO AND 1/2 TSP ONION POWDER
  7. NOW ADD FROTHY YEAST MIXTURE
  8. ADD 2 TBSP OLIVE OIL AND REQUIRED WATER AND KNEAD DOUGH
  9. WHEN DOUGH DONE, COVER THIS AND KEEP ASIDE THIS FOR 1 AND 1/2 HOUR OR TILL DOUBLE IN SIZE
  10. FOR HOMEMADE ZATAAR FILLING, ROAST 2 TBSP SESAME SEEDS
  11. TAKE 1 TBSP SUMAC POWDER
  12. ADD 1 TSP DRY BASIL
  13. 1 TSP OREGANO
  14. TRANSFER ROASTED SESAME SEEDS IN A SUMAC BOWL MIXTURE
  15. NOW COARSALY CRUSHED IT AND TRANSFER IN BOWL
  16. ADD 2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
  17. 1/2 TSP GROUND CUMIN POWDER
  18. 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI FLAKES
  19. 1/4 TSP SALT OR AS PER TASTE AND MIX
  20. WHEN KNEAD DONE TRANSFER IN KITCHEN PLATFORM AND KNEAD AGAIN
  21. NOW DEVIDE INTO 2 HALF AND MAKE BALL OF THIS
  22. TAKE 1 BALL AND ROLL IN LENGTH WISE
  23. FILL THE PREPARED ZATAAR
  24. SPREAD EVENLY
  25. NOW FOLD THIS CAREFULLY
  26. LEFT 1 INCH FROM CORNER, MAKE CUT IN MIDDLE AND DEVIDE INTO TWO HALF
  27. NOW OVERLAP ONE HALF TO OTHER
  28. NOW JOINT BOTH CORNER
  29. AND KEEP IN LINED BAKING DISH
  30. PREPARE OTHER ROLL LIKE THIS AND KEEP IT ALSO IN A BAKING DISH
  31. NOW LEFT IT FOR 1/2 AN HOUR FOR PROVING
  32. WHEN IT'S DONE
  33. BAKE THIS IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 190* TO 200* FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES OR TILL COMPLETELY DONE
