Sweet and sour tomato chutney

Ingredients to make Sweet and sour tomato chutney

  • 200 gram red tomato
  • 1/8 spoon kalonji
  • 1/8 spoon fennel seeds
  • 2 spoon refined oil
  • 1/2 spoon salt
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder
  • 1/4 spoon red chilly powder
  • 1/4 spoon garam masala
  • 1 spoon ginger chilli paste
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

How to make Sweet and sour tomato chutney

  1. Chop tomatoes in vegetable chopper
  2. Heat oil in a wok
  3. Add malini,fennel seeds and ginger chilly paste
  4. Add tomato and stir for 1 minute
  5. Add salt , turmeric powder and chilli powder
  6. Add water and cover with lid
  7. Let it cook for 6-7 minutes
  8. Add garam masala and sugar
  9. Cook on high flame for 1 minute
  10. Mix well and switch off the flame

My Tip:

If you want you can add raisins,green grapes or boiled peas also.
