Measure all the ingredients as per the recipe.
Sieve the flour and add the crushed sugar and keep it aside.
Chop the cool butter into fine pieces and add it to the flour sugar mix.
Then add the half diluted egg to the above mix and apply rub in method only and prepare a uniform mix or a dough.
Cling wrap the dough and refrigerate it.
Now for the apple pie filling, take the butter in a pan and melt it by heating and then add brown sugar to it.
After some time add the finely chopped apples and mix continuously so that the water present in it will evaporate.
Now turn off the flame and add cinnamon powder and mix it well and keep it aside.
Now take out the refrigrated dough and start rolling it by sprinkling flour at the base.
Take a pie mould and grease it with butter and then dust flour on it
Now lay the rolled sheet of dough into the pie mould and then dock the sides and bottom using a fork.
Now lay the fillings into it and cover the top part again with a sheet of rolled dough and also dock the top surface.
After covering it completely, egg wash the top surface and allow it to bake.
After baking, butter wash the pie and serve it with butter scotch sauce.
