A hot pastry, belonging to the category of choux pastry. The choux paste is fried in a medium flame and then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar on top.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Flour 160g
  2. Water 200ml
  3. Butter 120g
  4. Egg 5nos.
  5. Salt a pinch
  6. Baking powder 10g
  7. Vanilla essence 5ml
  8. Gluten 4g
  9. Cinnamon sugar 30g


  1. Measure all the ingredients as per the recipe.
  2. Take a thick bottom Pan and add 200ml of water and then turn on the flame and add 120g of butter and keep stirring using a whisk.
  3. Keep mixing till bubble formation is observed and then add sieved flour which is mixed with gluten and salt.
  4. Keep mixing till it stops to stick on the edges.
  5. Then cool the mixture by spreading it on a table.
  6. Then take the eggs and add baking powder and vanilla essence and mix well, do not whisk.
  7. Then to the flour mix, add the egg mix little by little only in one direction.
  8. Now take a piping bag with a star shaped nozzle and fill it with the above mix.
  9. Take a pan and fill it with oil and heat it.
  10. Now pipe the choux paste into the heated oil in a medium flame.
  11. After frying it, sprinkle cinnamon sugar.
  12. Serve when cooled to room temperature.
