TAWA CHICKEN TIKKA

Ingredients to make TAWA CHICKEN TIKKA

  • chicken - 2 cups
  • Green Bell pepper - 2 nos
  • tomatoes - 2 nos
  • onion - 2 nos
  • curd - 2 cups
  • chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala/ chicken masala - 1 tsp
  • salt - as required
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 4 tblsp

How to make TAWA CHICKEN TIKKA

  1. Remove bones from chicken, chop to small pieces
  2. Chop onions, tomatoes, capsicum to square sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl add, chicken, salt, garam masala , chilli powder, turmeric powder, mix well
  4. Then add chicken, capsicum, onions and mix well.
  5. Refrigerate the soaked chicken with curd overnight or minimum 8 hours.
  6. In skewer insert capsicum, onion, tomatoes, chicken and repeat the process
  7. Heat butter in tawa generously, place the skewers, keep the flame in low and roast for 5 mins.
  8. Turn the skewers for every 5 mins and dizzle some ghee and roast till all sides roasted to brown.
  9. Remove from flame , top with mustard sauce and enjoy
