This tomato chilli jam has flavours to satisfy all taste buds.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 tbsp oil
  2. 4 medium size finely chopped tomatoes
  3. 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  4. 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  5. 2 tsp red chilli paste ( chillies soaked in warm water and grinded)
  6. 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  7. 1 tbsp honey
  8. 2 gbsp vinegar
  9. Few basil leaves
  10. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan.
  2. To this add finely chopped garlic and ginger.
  3. Next add chopped tomatoes and cook for few mibs
  4. Now add chilli paste and cook for another 5- 7 mins
  5. Next add Brown sugar and honey. And salt and pepper to taste
  6. Simmer and cook for another 10 mins till it becomes jam like consistency.
  7. At last add basil leaves and vinegar and cook for another 2 mins
  8. Store in air right container after cooling .
