Ingredients to make Vrat wala kadu

  • pumpkin 1 kg
  • tamarind water

How to make Vrat wala kadu

  1. TAKE 1 KG PUMPKIN.REMOVE SKIN AND CUT INTO PIECES.
  2. LIKE THIS
  3. TAKE 1TSP CUMIN SEEDS,1TSP SAUNF,1TSP DHANIA,BLACK AND GREEN CARDAMOM,GINGER 2 TSP,CLOVES-3
  4. HEAT 1TBSP MUSTARD OIL ,TILL RAW SMELL GOES.ADD DRY RED CHILLI.
  5. ADD THE DRY MASALAS
  6. ADD 1 TSP ROCK SALT,1 TSP HALDI,1/2 TSP BLACK PEPPER,1/2 TSP METHI POWDER.
  7. ADD GINGER,PUMPKIN PIECES,COVER IT AND COOK AT LOW FLAME FOR 20-25 MINUTES.
  8. AFTER THAT CHECK IF THEY ARE SOFT .
  9. ADD TAMARIND WATER HALF CUP.
  10. ADD 2 TSP SUGAR.
  11. ADD RAISINS,KISHMISH.ADJUST TAMARIND WATER AND SUGAR AS PER TASTE.
