Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup corn flour
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 1/2 spoon vanilla essence
  4. 2 finely chopped tomatoes
  5. 4 tea spoon ghee
  6. 1 pinch of black pepper powder
  7. Crushed almonds 1/3 cup

Instructions

  1. In pan boil 1 cup of water
  2. Add sugar in it and make a little thick sugar syrup
  3. Remove the pulp and Cut the tomatoes in small pieces
  4. Add the tomato pieces in sugar syrup and boil for 5 minuts
  5. In a bowl add corn flour and water mix it well make a thin better
  6. Add this better in tomato sugar syrup
  7. Stir consistently and cook in low flame, add vanilla essence and black pepper powder
  8. Mix it well
  9. When it get thick add 1 tea spoon of ghee and mix it well
  10. When ghee mixed add another tea spoon of ghee and mix it well repeat it twice
  11. When the paste get thick add almonds
  12. In a tin pour the paste and set, let it cool completely,
  13. Cut into pieces and garnish with almonds enjoy the different taste of bombay halwa
