This namkeen is vrat special ,one can make it during fasts,it's taste is sweet and salty ,made up of sabudana anf dry fruits.

Vrat Special Namkeen

Ingredients to make Vrat Special Namkeen

  • sabudana half cup
  • water to soak 1/4 cup
  • oil to fry
  • Sliced coconut 2tsp
  • Chopped almonds 2 tsp
  • Raisons/kishmish 1 tsp
  • peanuts roasted 2tsp
  • rock salt/seendha namak as per taste
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Dessicated coconut 2tsp

How to make Vrat Special Namkeen

  1. TAKE 1 CUP SAGO PEARLS, ADD 1/4 CUP WATER, SET ASIDE TO REST FOR 5 MINS
  2. DRAIN & KEEP IN A STRAINER FOR 12-15 MINS TILL DRY
  3. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  4. FRY UNTIL THEY PUFF UP & TURN CRISP LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  5. DERP FRY 1/4 CUP EACH OF SLICED COCONUT & ALMONDS FOR A FEW SECONDS, SET ASIDE
  6. TAKE THE FRIED SAGO PEARLS, ADD THE FRIED COCONUT & ALMONDS
  7. ADD ROCK SALT / SENDHA NAMAK TO TASTE, 1/2 TSP PEPPER POWDER
  8. ADD A HANDFUL OF RAISINS & ROASTED PEANUTS
  9. ADD 1 TBSP DESSICATED COCONUT, MIX WELL
  10. THE NAMKEEN IS READY, COOL THOROUGHLY & STORE IN AN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER
