Ingredients to make Grilled cheesy bites

  • 1 small French loaf or bread
  • Topping.....half cup grated cheese
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Half tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 onion chopped finely
  • 1 small tomato- deseeded and finely chopped ( remove pulp)
  • one fourth chopped cabbage ( optional)
  • 2 tbsp corn kernels (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • chilli flakes and oregano to sprinkle
  • 2 tsp mustard paste
  • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Half green capsicum chopped finely
  • Half tsp oregano
  • One fourth tsp pepper
  • 2 pinches of salt

How to make Grilled cheesy bites

  1. Cut the French bread into half inch thick slice. Brush the olive oil. Sprinkle red chilli flakes and oregano. Grill with the oil side up for about 4 minutes till golden brown.
  2. Mix together cheese, pander, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, chilli flakes and oregano.
  3. Add all the other ingredients of the topping and mix lightly.
  4. Pile the topping on the untoasted side of the bread.
  5. Place bread under a grill for 3-4 minutes and grill till light golden. Serve immediately.
