Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Toor dal 1 cup
  2. Grated mango 2 tbsp
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Chopped tomato 1
  6. Chopped green chilly 1
  7. Curry leaves 8 - 10
  8. Chopped onion 1
  9. Whole red chilli 2
  10. Garlic cloves 4
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Clarified butter 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Pressure cooker the arhar dal/too dal with turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder, tomato,grated mango and two cup of water
  2. After two whistle switch off the flame
  3. Heat clarified butter in a pan,add whole red chilli to crackle now add onion,garlic cloves and curry leaves and saute for 2 to 3 mins
  4. Add cooked toor dal in a pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
  5. Serve hot
