This puri is vrat special,made of kuttu atta and potatoes with mild spices,can be enjoyed with chutney or curd or just tea.

Ingredients to make Vrat ki puri(kuttu puri)

  • Kuttu atta 1.5 cup
  • Boiled potatoes 3
  • rock salt-1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper -1/2 tsp
  • jeera powder-1 tsp
  • Corriander leaves-3 tsp
  • water -1/2 cup
  • oil for frying

How to make Vrat ki puri(kuttu puri)

  1. TAKE 1.5 CUP KUTTU ATTA,1/2 TSP ROCK SALT,1/2 TSP BLACK PEPPER,1 TSP JEERA POWDER,
  2. 3MEDIUM SIZE BOILED POTATOES,CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES,1/2 CUP WATER TO KNEAD.
  3. MASH OR GRATE POTATOES.
  4. ADD KUTTU ATTA,SEENDHA NAMAK /ROCK SALT TO IT.
  5. ADD JEERA,BLACK PEPPER ,CORIANDER LEAVES TO IT ,MIX WELL.
  6. ADD WATER AND KNEAD A HARD DOUGH.
  7. DOUGH IS READY.
  8. TAKE SMALL BALL OF DOUGH ,ROLL IT DOWN AND WITH HELP OF KATORI SHAPE IT ROUND.
  9. PUT THEM IN HOT OIL.
  10. COOK FROM BOTH SIDES TILL CRISP AND BROWN.
