Excellent. Would also suggest to grind two TSP of coriander seeds also along with pepper and garlic for enhanced flavour.
Grind cumin seeds, garlic and black pepper into a semi coarse powder.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, once it splutters, add dry red chilles, hing and curry leaves on low flame.
Add tomatoes and stir fry until the tomatoes become soft.
Now add the semi coarse powder along with turmeric powder. Stir well.
Pour the tamarind water with salt and stir.Leave it to boil.
Remove from heat and add coriander leaves, stir well.
SERVING: 4
