Ingredients to make Pumpkin payasam

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree(250 grams)
  • 1 cup sugar (150 grams)
  • 1 cup milk(100 ml)
  • 1 cardamom
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 12 raisins
  • 8 cashews
  • water as required

How to make Pumpkin payasam

  1. TAKE YELLOW PUMPKIN
  2. REMOVE SEEDS AND PEEL
  3. WASH
  4. CUT INTO PIECES
  5. TAKE PIECES IN A KADAI,ADD WATER
  6. COOK TILL THEY BECOME SOFT
  7. MAKE INTO PASTE
  8. TAKE 1 SMALL CUP SUGAR ,1 CARDAMOM,1 CUP PUMPKIN PUREE,1 CUP MILK
  9. TAKE A KADAI ADD TBSP GHEE,ADD CASHEWS
  10. FRY
  11. TAKE INTO A PLATE
  12. ADD RAISINS,FRY AND TAKE INTO PLATE
  13. INTO SAME KADAI ADD PUMPKIN PUREE
  14. ADD 1 CRUSHED CARDAMOM,1 CUP SUGAR AND MIX
  15. KEEP STIRRING TILL SUGAR MELTS
  16. THEN POUR 1/2 SMALL CUP OF MILK AND STIR WELL.
  17. PUMPKIN PAYASAM IS READY TO SERVE
